Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups pecans
Instructions
  1. Boil sugar ,water and other ingredients EXCEPT NUTS to soft boil stage.
  2. Remove from heat and mix in nuts
  3. Stir until well coated and mixture thickens.
  4. Drop onto waxed paper and cool.
Notes

Any other type nuts may be substituted. I use pecans because I have 6 pecan trees in my yard.

Ingredients
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese-softened
  • 3 or 4 green onions-chopped fine
  • 1 jar dried beef-chopped fine
  • 1 teaspoon accent
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 to 4 cups pecans
Instructions
  1. This is a recipe that has no exact amounts…just whatever works for you.
  2. Before you mix and roll into a large or several small balls- Crush pecans
  3. Roll balls in crushed pecans , wrap in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator till ready to eat.

Pretzle Butter Dip

Ingredients
  • 3 – 8 ounce packages of cream cheese
  • 1 package of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
  • coarse black pepper
  • 1 stick of butter
  • pretzels
Instructions
  1. Combine cream cheese, hidden valley ranch packet, parmesan cheese and stick of butter. Mix together well
  2. Put in bowl and try to make a ball out of it in the bowl.
  3. Use a pepper mill and sprinkle as much pepper as you like all over the top.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Serve with pretzels.
