Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 package caramels
  • 5 cups rice krispies
Instructions
  1. Melt the butter over medium heat and then add the sweetened condensed milk.
  2. Next add the caramels and stir until all is melted. Be careful these will scorch very easily. Stir constantly till melted.
  3. Last, add the rice krispies (you can use as much as you like).
  4. Then just drop by spoonful onto wax paper.
  5. Let set 30 minutes.
  6. Store covered in frig.

Chocolate Almond Bars

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate wafer cookies
  • 12 ounce semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 7 ounce shredded coconut
  • 7 ounce sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
  1. In ovenproof 8″x12″ glass baking dish, melt butter in preheated 350° f oven without browning.
  2. Remove from oven and sprinkle cookie crumbs in an even layer over butter.
  3. In even layers, sprinkle chocolate chips, then almonds, then coconut.
  4. Finally pour sweetened condensed milk in a smooth layer over the top.
  5. Bake in 350° f oven for 45 min. or until top is golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool thoroughly before cutting. Makes 24 bars

Ingredients
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
  • 12 ounce chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients (except chocolate chips) and press into a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips and spread on the top.
  3. Refrigerate until chocolate is almost set, in about 10 minutes, cut it into small squares.
  4. They may be stored in freezer.
