Ingredients
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients into a dough.
  2. Put in refrigerator and chill for 1 hour.
  3. Roll dough into small balls and put on ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Mash each ball really thin with your fingers.
  5. Bake in a 350 degree oven until brown.
  6. Watch them closely they should be VERY thin and cook quickly.
Notes

This my Grand Mother’s recipe. I remember the smell of these cooking everytime I walk into her house.
